Little bitter over your loss?
I am. Then again i could only imagine how bad the 47% would demand i pay "My Fair Share" I'd have to hire the homeless union walmart strikers, to run security round my hood:)

Not bitter at all, didn't play. It will just be nice to go to the store and not have to wait for 37 people throwing away money on a pipedream.

I can top that. Even worse yet, is the one person ahead of you who starts handing over their scratch tickets to verify a win. While doing this they are scratching away the ticket they just received as part of their "winnings"
MMMMMMMMMMMM can i get one of those bronco double pony winners please?
I'm thinking you don't go up to central city much, huh Bert?

Nope, last time was the eldest's 21st birthday.
They say only gamble what you can afford to lose. I can't afford to lose anything.

I have never stepped foot in a casino. Not my thing.
But I will play the powerball once or twice a year. Just cause!

I play the powerball and lotto one ticket for each drawing to keep my parents off my back. I figure at least part of it goes to parks and rec. I go to Cripple Creek once a year and take $50 to play and eat with. After I loose it, I feel guilty the whole drive home thinking of how much and what kind of ammo that money would be better spent on.

Reason #23 that I don't gamble... except when I go to Vegas, gotta get down on the 'ol blackjack... but I've only been to Vegas once, and that was a little over a year ago, and we went for a concert, not primarily for gambling.
that's funny. My parents would be on my back if I were to play lotto and they found out I was wasting my money doing it.

Never been in a casino......... those types of "slots" do nothing for me...
And if im gonna waste money id rather spend it on the ones on colfax[ROFL3]
I play and just consider it another form of entertainment but I can choose how much I want to pay to be entertained....and free drinks! Lately I have really got into playing Texas holden cash games and have actually some pretty good.
3 of us went in on tickets last night. One ticket matched 3 numbers so it won $7! Oh boy!
If you haven't spent at least the price of a nice AR-15 on hookers and blow in Vegas and regretted it the next day, you aren't living up to baller standards. [LOL]
I took my grandfather to vegas about a month before he passed. He had 14,000 left after he paid for al his funeral expenses and bought a nice headstone for my grandmother and himself. I was installing a winecellar and told him to call me if he needed anything
he called me 2 days later from california and said he had the time of his life and he would see me back in colorado in a week. After he passed away my aunts were tearing apart his home looking for the money. My grandpa died with $200 and i couldnt of smiled more that day. I myself dont gamble.

[LOL]Smart man... My grandad, when he passed, had only his two daughters in his will, he was wise enough to know how greedy his grand kids were (my cousins, not my brother and me, we were too young at the time) .
Gambling in a casino is not even in the same ball park as playing the lotto, especially if it is a game against another person.
