View Full Version : Cabelas in NoCo!
Someone has probably posted this before but my little brother informed me that Cabelas is building a giant store right off of I25 and 144th. Finally us folk up north wont have to drive a ridiculous amount of time to get to Cabelas!

Their stock is just about at an all time high too... Maybe the new stores will make it go up more.

Won't have to drive a ridiculous.... oh you mean when it goes in in Lone Tree or wherever? I was thinking, wait, you guys are actually quite a bit closer in NOCO to Sidney, NE than us in/around Denver are... [LOL]

The Wheat Ridge Cabelas would have been so legit! Too bad the city had to bone it up.
Yeah that's an hour south and im an hour from wy boarder. North is relative I guess
They're building a second one in Lone Tree at I-25 and Ridgegate Parkway, looking down on Sky Ridge Hospital. About 6 miles from my house. Woot!

I'm afraid I'll have to contain my enthusiasm until the doors open. I followed the earlier Cabela's fiasco from the first rumors until the final denial and I don't think my emotions can handle another disappointment of that magnitude ...
Right, like I have "emotions" [hahhah-no]
Still, I do hope this one happens.

[ROFL1] I love how you posted a map... From looking at it, everything Boulder and North I would consider to be part of the Northern 3rd of Colorado... Maybe even Westminster? [Beer]

By Bermuda Triangle of NoCo, do you mean because Windsor is between Ft. Collins, Greeley, and Loveland? I know where Windsor is, but I've lived here my whole life and have friends in both Greeley and Ft. Fun. But that's funny, people from Loveland asking where Windsor is? [ROFL2] That'd be like people from Pine asking where Bailey is...

There is a castle in Windsor isn't there? The House of Windsor. Also, they make windmills in Windsor don't they?
The north store is less than a mile from my house and I tell people we live in the north Denver metro area.

Oh, I know me some geography!
Technically, based on geography, both new Cabelas locations are in "Northern Colorado".
Sucks for those in Pueblo.
