Yesterday I cleaned out a few old PMs.
Everything was fine.

Today it is 100% full, and I needed to delete some.
(Actually, I was WAY OVER(?) the limit)

Did this happen to anyone else......overnight?

There are 4 folders for your PM's

1. Recieved PM's

2. Sent PM's

3 Saved recieved PM's

4 Saved sent PM's

click on Private messages it automatically takes you to your inbox. Where it says jump to folder click on that and tell me what you see. It will show all 4 folders and how many messages are in each.

Edit to add: I was not very clear do not click on Go click on the arrow to expand it to pick which folder you wish to go to. You will see what I am talking about.

Same happened to me so I had to delete quite a few to get back under as well... looks like the PM folder quantity got adjusted down to 50 total allowed (or some old deleted msgs. were restored??). -Dave

Ok guys help me out are all of your folders empty or just your inbox?

If all 4 of your folders don't have much in them then I will take it to the higher ups and they can get it fixed.

Ok guys I figured it out even though I am sometimes not so internet bright shall we say. [LOL]

Your PM's allowed 100 messages and for some reason it is now 50 give the higher ups some time to fix it.

We upgraded to the latest version of vBulletin last night. It could be that your messages were saved in a backup file prior to the upgrade, and when it was done it reloaded them. Sorry for the trouble, but I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

We had some issues with the vBulletin company yesterday that took the site down. And we decided to go ahead and upgrade last night to make sure we stay up and stable.
