cool screen shots, what platform is it on (PC, PS3, X-360)?
nifty. I'd love to try it but probably would have to spend a few hundred dollars on a video card...
pc :)
best game i've ever played
I'll have to get it for my 360. I was a bit disappointed with CoD3, though.
cod3 sucked
cod4 is by for the best FPS i've ever played
the COD4 demo is pretty cool so far.. I just downloaded it 1.n gig, but it's pretty cool.. give it a try if you got the BW to download the demo.
COD 1, 2 and 4 were made by Infinity Ward...3 and now 5 are by Treyarch, who are said to be the satans of the call of duty world...
I've got plenty of bandwidth, so I'll have to pull down the demo when I get some time to play. Still trying to finish up Halo 3 solo on Legendary.
I love the AC-130 gunship part... i played that part alone nearly 10 times :p

I've been on the fence about buying a PS3/360. Seeing shots like that almost pushes me off to buy one. Amazing.

Yea, that Spectre part is probably the coolest part in the whole game!
I haven't seen the X Box or PS3 version of the game, those screen shots came off my PC. Your PC may be able to run the game now, but you need a good video card.
Those are shots from the PC ;)
PC graphics are nicer than PS3 and xbox360, if you have a good pc that is.

The developers released a patch yesterday, bringing the game to 1.4...they also threw in a new map for the season :)

if you play the veteran level in the demo.. it's pretty easy up till the 'get the 23-4' part.....then it gets violent!
not a bad game from just playing the demo.
LOL you mean that AA gun in the demo? Yeah, I usually lob a flash bang in there then a nade and run in with a shotgun to clear out the rest of em...
Awesome!!
Have you tried multiplayer yet?
I play multiplayer on xbox live all the time! its pretty much the best game ever!!!!!

The 40mm is better, you can see the bodies jump through the air! :)
I threw this one in there so the "x-boxers" could see the PC "mirage" from muzzle blast!

Needed to update my PC in order to meet the min specs
Picked up a
MSI KpVGM-V MB
AMD 64X2 5000+
2g of Kingston memory
and a NVIDEA Geo 8600 GT.
Got it all put together and it will only stay powered on for about 15-20 seconds then shuts off.
Have to unplugg the power supply and replug it back in to get it to turn back on.
Went back and got a new 650w power supply and problem still exists.:mad:
Oh, figured since they were going out of business I would take advantage of the CompUSA going out of business sale.
Hmm, 15-20 seconds and shuts off, eh? You running on a power strip? No fuses blowing?
Is your CPU fan plugged in and does it spin up when the PC starts? Im leaning towards that, as it sounds like an overheating issue...after about 20 seconds a bare CPU can cook an egg...
do you have the right memory?
is the cpu configured properly in bios?
sounds like a hardware and/or hardware related setting.
RTFM
Yeah...cant be memory, though...I built a system a while back and put in the wrong memory and it just didnt start up at all...BIOS is a possibility...
it's the 28-th pin in the second bank... no! it must be the polarity on the fans... anyways, the only way to fix the problem is to slaughter a goat and do that thing with chicken blood
That only works on Apple IIs, sorry....
much to learn you have...

It might have been overheating, or possibly something grounding out on the chassis.
I removed everything from the case and laid it out on a piece of cardboard. One component add a time I added them and got it up and running and then check status in the BIOS, watching the temp. CPU never got over 84*
So I have a complete caseless system up and running and the game looks AWESOME!!!
I played just a little, up to Charlie Dont Surf. Amazing how much time and $$ I expanded just to play a computer game
Worth it
