neighbor/buddies house fire

Shop caught on fire around 7 pm. Not quite sure what the source was, but like me does a lot of automotive. Shop is attached to the house and now most of the roofing and drywall is torn down. It has been a rough night, I am down there many evenings. However tonight I worked late and came home to fire trucks blocking the street. Everyone got out ok,including the animals. I have a ton of pics,just too scatter bained to post right now. Ill throw em up in the morning.......shop is a total loss

That Sucks.............. At least everyone got out ok ( including the critters) !!!

Just remember.........

thats what insurance is for .. everything but the people and the critters are replaceable or easy to live without.( old pictures .. stuff like that .. sucks to lose them but life will go on )

That sucks, I watched my neighbors house burn up pretty bad this summer.. It was sad, pretty much gutted the whole inside.

This happened to me a couple years ago. My wife was awakened by the house next door burning to the ground. I was in Afghanistan to boot!

The smartest thing we did was to scan all of our documents and keep them digitally at an external site. She was able to just grab the dog and the emergency bag and out of the house in 90 seconds.

I'm glad that all the critters and their humans were able to get out and to safety.
