There are several threads on ARFCOM about this, including some plastic printed AR lowers that fired several thousands rounds. There are different polymers available for printing, and some are stronger than others. There are also 3D printers that print with different metal alloy extrusions... pretty interesting stuff. It'll be interesting to see where this technology leads us in the future.
