I wish that everyone got what they deserved in life, but it seems like the liars/cheaters/thieves get ahead and honest, hard-working folks get left in their dust. It's been a fun last few weeks of work...
So this guy at my work has now been caught twice either stealing by coming in on a weekend, clocking out, leaving and then coming back 11 hours later and clocking out (and lying about it)...or doing something highly illegal that could possibly be a horrible financial disaster once all of the lawsuits and fines shook out. Both times, he talked his way back into a job with zero reprocussions. Needless to say this guy now feels invincible. And why shouldn't he? He can basically do whatever the hell he wants and keep his job. Of course, this guy makes a ton more money than I do. I guess an uneducated, lying former drug dealing d-bag is more valuable to the company than a college educated, honest, hard-working person who does their jobs the right way day in and day out [Mad]
Sorry...had to vent. The equity in this world has been severely skewed in the wrong direction and it's been extremely frustrating recently. I guess I'll just have to keep banging my head against the wall until I'm 65 and can retire (most likely uncomfortably).
