that's right, I'm going out on a limb here and giving you all a mandatory homework assignment.

view this video, yes, it'll take about 30 minutes of your day. Then I want you to share it with your friends/family.

Wow! This is the first time we've assigned homework. Will there be a test?

Good stuff, except the bit on "anarchy", it's way oversimplified, and shows somewhat ignorant view on the subject. Sort of similar like people use "assault rifle" term. Other than that, good video, thank you.

It was great. I'm going to forward it to everyone I have an e-mail address for. If it only speaks to one person it's worth it.

it's "dying", but yeah, we're there. Everyone should read Edward Gibbon's "The Decline and Fall of Roman Empire"...

Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeated, just make sure you're ready for it. Readiness is your personal business, in our case.

While mostly built on correct and factual information, it is also contains assumptions that lead to conclusions that are wide of the mark. The core point of the video raises a real issue, but the insinuations it uses to build that point are flawed and often gloss over the realities of history.

Morality/Religion.
Having grown up closely and directly tied to religion, it is my opinion that there is no connection between morality and religion. Many of the most amoral, dishonest and dishonorable people I have ever met were also extremely religious and usually in positions of religious power. Clearly, I have much more to say on the subject, but that's for a different time.

Free Market/honest competition.
The insinuation is that the free market is self regulating and governmental controls are un-needed because competition is honest. The fact is, competition is as often dishonest as it is honest. If it was always honest, the conclusion drawn would potentially be correct, but laws and the enforcement of laws is needed to KEEP completion honest and allow the market to be as free as possible.

There is more... but there are other things to do today.

The youtube link hasn't been around for a couple of months. What was the name of the movie? I will see if I can find it.
