2 knuckleheads that work as movers for the company I manage, dropped it off a ramp and scratched it up pretty badly.

And I need to have it repainted to look new again.

I am at a loss as to who could do it? Auto body shops maybe?

I am hoping for just a little insight from all you gurus...

And it's a very dark green Liberty gunsafe

Given your title states that it's only 5 inches tall it shouldn't be a monumental task to gt it painted... Hobby Lobby sells model airplane paint. [Coffee]

I joke, I kid... A CUSTOM auto painter will get it painted to look BETTER than new. Just don't use Macco or some shit like that. But yeah, I would suggest a custom paint shop.

I might know a guy:) . I know I can get the pain matched, and if I were up and running right now I could do it, but just not set up for paint right now. However one of the guys that does contract work for me is for sure able to do it. Shoot me your contact info and I will help you out.

EDIT- also if you can send me some pics of the damage to don@grid-1.net I will be able to help you much better.

This is a lie. No one could ever match the PAIN of a 5" Liberty Safe.

Glad you took my jokes in stride. :)
I hope you and Don get it all figured out. You should paint flames on it... Pink ones... With Ponies..

... and roses ... definitely put some nice red roses on there to contrast with the green background ...

I'd hate to be that customer... "I'm pretty damn sure that my safe was green when it went in the truck... When it came out of the truck.. It was hot pink with ponies and flowers all over it... Do you know what happened to it, Mr. BeelzeBob?"

What happens in the truck, stays in the truck, sir.....

So.

I really just wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to Don and the Ar-15 Community.

My job is simply to solve problems. Having my employees all but ruin a near perfect gunsafe really had me up against a wall with time and budget, and I was at a loss for how I was going to make this right.

Not only was Don able to do an amazing job that impressed both my customer and myself, but he went the extra mile as far as color matching and ensuring the job was done right.

In this day and age it seems seldom to be humbled and in awe of someone's work. So I find myself lucky to be humbled and grateful. :D

I really just want to personally thank Don for the great work he did for me.
