Stupid USO.

Two days and it's on it's way back.

$1,600 and 11 weeks. Didn't work out of the box.

You guys told me, and I ignored it. File your "I told you so's" here.

I'd also like to know what went wrong.

I do know exactly how you feel. I've bought some scopes I've regretted in the past, never that expensive though. Talk about buyers remorse.

Parallax set at 40 yards, and it adjusts (it shouldn't) with the diopter adjustment. Also, the internal level is off compared to the reticle.

The tech weenie I spoke to couldn't explain it, but was anxious to have it back.

Assuming it gets fixed, I'll keep it. I love the ability to configure just exactly what you want. It sucks stinky farts that it came screwed up, though.

The eye piece focus will affect parallax because it changes how the reticule is perceived by your eye . It should be a small amount though . Oh the joy's of USO's world class QC process . If you make it out to one of the big match's one of the USO guy's is typically there , he got my story at the team match last month .

Not a whole lot other than to say that it shouldn't happen that way . Dave's a good guy and stuck in the middle of a bad situation .

Scope is back from USO. It appears to be fixed. I'll shoot it today and confirm.

Not yet, but I shot it at last Saturdays PD match and it worked well.

Box test this weekend.
