YES! I don't go roll around in the snow when it's cold or anything, but I've been bitching about the nice weather and zero snow for weeks now. It's ruining my mood.

EDIT: I think I figured it out. In the winter, it gets dark early, but I don't mind staying inside because it is also cold. Now, I come home and get cooped up in my house for no other reason than that it is dark, and that makes me angry. Not to mention that I bought full on snow tires for my daily driver and I feel like I'll ruin them before any snow even shows up.

Spot on. It drives me nuts, too.

On the up-side, my utilities bill has been low thanks to the weather.

I never really get full blown Christmas Spirit until there's a good storm. I actually like going gift shopping during a blizzard.... I don't like it once we get to a mall, just driving with the wife through a storm. Christmas lights look better with snow falling. I'm almost not a surly curmudgeon during a December snowfall.

But now I'm thinking about turning sprinklers back on. If I was superstitious I'd almost start believing this "Global Warming" myth that the ignorant are talking about ;)

All I know is that normally we are about half as busy at work this time of year as we are right now. We need a good cold snap to slow down business.

I remember moving to CO in 2007 and riding my Harley right up until about 10'days before Christmas...Then.... bam. 25 inches of snow. I am not giving up yet, but my snowmobiles are getting impatient.

My 5 year old has been obsessed with Xmas this year. We usually put our decorations and tree up the day after Thanksgiving and take down on New Years Day to enjoy the season a little longer.

This year we waited until the first week of December because we just moved last weekend. Every day since Thanksgiving we got him all upset, as he kept stating; "If we don't put up the Xmas decorations Santa wont know where we live!"

We finally got them up and now he is somewhat happy because his new thing is he keeps asking me where the snow is? "Cause Dad we need snow for Xmas or Santa wont be able to land!"

He has watched way too many Christmas themed movies already.

I am with you, need snow for Christmas. COME ON MOTHER NATURE, DUE IT FOR THE CHILDREN! THE CHILDREN I TELL YOU!!!

Oh well... The grill with the burgers, the fryer with the turkey, the patio heater and the other gas heater will be running full speed.

Don't forget to water your lawn. It's been over 40 days since last real moisture.

As long as there is no snow on the ground we rode, year round. When it was below freezing, plug in the heated vest, winter riding grear and off we go.

Regarding Christmas spirit BAH HUMBUG.

I'm pretty concerned about the lack of precipitation. It was pretty dry all summer. Now, it's been super-dry all fall and unless we start getting snow-pack and lots of it, we are going to be in for a seriously bad water shortage next summer and a possible fire season like never seen in this state.

Personally, I blame Obama, the master of giving what's wanted instead of what's needed.
