A good day pheasant hunting

My dad, brother and one of my friends went pheasant hunting the day before Thanksgiving. We limited out before noon. Here is a photo of our birds and my GSP, Ruger. We also had my dad's GSP with us. There are some birds left even though it's been a dry year.

My family lives in the Haxtun/Holyoke area so that's where we do our hunting. I'm spoiled, I have a lot of good private ground to hunt.

Nicely done! So pheasant still exist in Colorado! I was told it would a worthless season form a few farmers out in Yuma and Ray. Looks like they just didn't want ME coming out!!!

The walk in access has been really quite good in the past couple of years. There was a time when I swore I would never waste my time out there again. Things gave changed.
