Can you go to sleep with something in your hand, and have it still be there in the morning when you wake up?

I've been trying this with a flashlight and it is still there when I woke up 2 out of 2 attempts. Don't ask me to explain the thought process of how I decided to try this little experiment, but you should try it yourself and report back here!

In the Army I would quite a bit.

I kind of figured the comments would go this way, but it is easy enough to try that I hope people do. I figured people probably would have had to do this in the mil.
