Went for a drive on Turkeyday. Forgot to download the camera til last night.

Came across this and have no idea what it is. Some type of antenna maybe or a high altitude drive-in screen. Didn't see a power box or lines running to it but there was pole close by.

Bonus points if you know where it is.

Unrented / unused billboard, the two angled uprights are for lights to shine down onto the advertisement.

Looks like it's near San Denver, based on the markings...

It's a reflective targeting screen used to reroute a high power laser shot into space, off a satellite, and shoot down Russian ICBMs. I saw it in Spys Like Us. I win.

I could tell you what is, but, then... You know the rest.

That was actually the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the pics...

Actually that's a super sized ADS. Raytheon was just contracted by the DOD to build dozens of them around all of the major cities to keep people within the general "sector" for positive control during a TEOTWAKI event. It's like a shock collar for humans, except instead of shocking you it makes you feel like you're burning and there's no collar.

This gets points for creativity.

it's a drive-in movie theater screen, but for cows. Don't even need to show a movie, entertains all on it's own.

It's a Microwave reflector. An outfit called Microflect used to manufacture and install them many years ago. Used to be used for telephone transmissions. I guess they still are (http://wchsutah.org/miscellaneous/telephones.php).

Someone needs to paint a big bullseye on it. [Coffee] Put an arrow pointing to the center that says; "Microwaves go here" then hang an old radar range in the center. [Flower]

I guess some microwaves need a little more instruction.
