I've played with a genuine T1 and liked it very much. A real one is not in my budget for a while, so I'm looking for a clone. I've read good things about the Primary Arms version, but they are unavailable.

Are there other options in the $100 range?

I should add that my goal is an optic for a new shooter. I want whatever will be easiest for a neophyte to make hits on an IPSC silhouette out to 150 yards or so.

Look at the Bushnell TRS-25.

Battery life on the clones blows goat.

My buddy said they gave beat the hell out of the Vortex Sparc at their range and it has held up perfectly.

^^^ I have found Vortex to be great. Primary arms is also decent for the price. PA is on my 15-22.

I have a T-1 clone... It's called an H-1.

Primary arms is good if you can find one. They're almost always out of stock though.

Hit up Kaiser, He has some of these.

They look great and have a bigger FOV than PA's or Sparc. Nice crisp 2 MOA dot also.

I've been tempted by the PA and other clones, but then I remember that whatever I spend on them means that I have less to buy an actual Aimpoint T-1.

Patience is it's own reward. Buy once...

Buy once, cry once. I almost bought another PA, but had the same thought as MrStone.

The "Goat Blowing" micro's are available again from Primary Arms. I just ordered one. All up with shipping for under $100.

It's not the final solution (gotta have a real T1), but it will get my soon-to-be-assembled new AR up and running while I save my allowance for a real one.
