I have seen video of this race in the past. It is like the Blackwater on steroids! The ones that finish are amazing and lucky....Makes me riding around the track at Berthod comical.

Out of all athletes these guys get my vote. I do a lot of trail/single track/motocross/freestyle, and these boys are just insane. Love watching em rip!

Thanks for posting this. I watched a race at this mine On Demand a long time ago. Never have been able to find it or anything about it online since. Travis Pastrana was in the race I watched and didn't finish. To me that REALLY said something.

I guess the hardest part with this two wheel race is staying alive hitting 200 mph through regular roads and streets...

Both road and dirt riding... different disciplines and both difficult to master. [Beer]

I can just imagine a classified ad for a used motorcycle after that race: "only used one day!"

That's cool as hell! Not even in my prime as a youth would I do that sh*t. My ribs and knees are in so much pain just looking at that!

I've done enough of both disciplines to have enormous respect for anyone who can do either... I was a mediocre road racer and am a mostly horrible dirt rider...[ROFL1]

I only did the road racing stuff for one whole season in 2010... If I had the funds... I'd do both of these races as much as I could [BooHoo][dammit]

I watched that whole thing. Thanks for posting TFog. A lot of things look really fun on tv, but I have to say that not much of that race looks anything but terrifying.

I couldn't even walk up half of those slopes.

When I read the title to this thread I thought it was a thread for the Isle of Man TT.

When I saw the thread title I thought of the Pikes Peak hill climb. Actually the hill climb is not all that hard :)

IoM is a different kind of tough...or stupid, depending on your point of view. IoM, Dakar, Erzberg...mad props to all of the competitors. That goes for the PPHC, too, Mike...[not-worthy]
