One of the more popular reasons for chopping it off - when your Company Commander says, "Cut that damn thing off -- NOW![blaster]

I too have had to say good bye to an accidental shaver slip or two. I like my mouth brow, lip rug, flavor savor, face caterpillar, soup strainer, coffee sponge, lip warmer, dirt squirrel, Manley Mustache. But I never have tried stash painting! [Coffee]

Man that was tough to watch, don't think I could do it. Have only shaved my stache off twice since it started as fuzz @ 14 yrs old. My stache and I have been pals for over 30 yrs. The wife and kids have never seen me without it.[Tooth]

I have been known to get rid of mine just for fun. Last time was sept and right after I came back from Oregon I shaved it off. Always freaks the Children (Soldiers) at work out. They better watch it or I will grow my mullet out.[LOL]

Now beards.... I grew one once as everyone that gets out of the service does. Never again.

The stash I've had since I was 14, but I can't grow a beard for shit. I shaved the stash last September also just to spite one of my employees. She said she didn't like it. I said "what does it matter? I'm not your husband?".............. Uhhh, and she walked away. [Coffee]

Stashes also used to be referred to as "womb brooms"

Except for Basic, I've had a 'stache since before I was out of HS. And I grew the "just got out" beard Jerry mentioned...not a full one, just a goatee.

I don't think the wife and kids would know me if I shaved off the 'stache! Hell, I don't think I would. [ROFL1]

I grew a mustache once for one reason or another. My cousin politely offered to "shoot that right off your stupid face."
