A freind is haveing a new years bash and it is only two blocks from my house so I can walk. I will take the dog so if I drink to much she can walk her dumb dad home. [Beer] [LOL]

Unless i have to work, or i have a place to stay the night (ie: hotel) i don't go out anymore on New Years. Few years ago i ran a call (medic here) and an entire family was killed by a drunk driver. It's one thing to hear about it on the news like you do every year, but when you see it, makes you think twice about being on the road on New Years Eve.

Everyone be safe.

I'm surfing the net and seeing what else I need to order before the new year and new Congress.

So far the tab is:
1K of 7.62x39
1 7.62x39 conversion kit for my XCR
1K of 5.56x45 for the XCR

I'm also researching next years acquisitions for New Year's resolutions. I just extablished a Revocable Living Trust today and am planning to get into NFA stuff next year. First up is a can for .30 which will fit the 7.62 XCR, my FAL, and my 300 Weatherby. Second on the list is a can for .22lr.

Of course there's all the peripheral stuff I'll need, like magazines for the 7.62 XCR, another optic for the FAL, more ammo. And then there's the new SRT conversions for my three Sigs. It will probably be another year of not following all my New Year's resolutions but there's always hope.

Everything was packed today. I went to 2 post offices and there wasn't an open parking spot at either of them. What's up with that?

Well aren't we just the party animal bunch? :) Wife and I went to the mall to return a Season of Picket Fences that I already had and exchanged it for the 1st season of Friday Night Lights. Then I called Texas Roadhouse for call ahead seating and killed the time in between by buying some videos and Christmas clearance stuff at Target.

In the house by 9 and watched the movies. Hell we even forgot to have a drink.

I guess with age the partying goes away, but we get clever. I have Texas Roadhouse in my cell phone book, and I love getting there and sitting right down, and it pisses off the people who forget they can call ahead.

Haven't been on here for a while! I ended up going to the Skylark on B'way with a couple of friends, finishing the better part of a 10oz flask of brandy, and blacking out parts of the night after about 0030. It was great. :D
