I got the wife some Channel No 5 for Christmas. She told me I should have put the money towards a gun because she needs a new one. Yup, she's a keeper. She will have to wait for her birthday to get a new gun though.
What are you getting you SO for Christmas? I see Troubleco's wife is getting a puppy.
I will be watching this thread with great interest.
Mostly for ideas.

Mama pushed out a bundle of Joy in late November so I figured she should be rewarded for her hard work.

She got another rescue dog. Her b-day is when she scored, MTAC and FF2 RDS PLUS a new G26, to go with her other 26 and another 3K of mixed caliber ammo.
I got her an M&P Shield 40 and an IWB holster. Kind of a present for me since I want her to start carrying once we have a kid and she is a stay at home mom. Might have to find something pretty to get her as well.

Recoil? define recoil. Of all the 9's we have had, outside a USPc the 26 is her Go To handgun. A 9 has minimal snappiness compared to the same compact in 40.

"Kick" would be a good way to describe it. How hard does it kick? My 27 is a snappy little f*cker but I like it. If I were to put the 27 in my wife's hands she would not be a happy mama. I bought a pink Taurus .380 a while back and she did not like it at all. I don't want to end up in that situation again.

I got my wife an iPhone 5 for her birthday, and now she wants an iPad mini for Christmas!!! I can't tell you how hard it is for me to by her Apple stuff when I like Android so much more.

I got my girl a loose diamond. It's 0.49 carats, D color, and SI1 clarity. I also got her luxury socks from Nordstrom, which feel so comfy.

My wife and I decided to not get anything for each other. She's actually one of those women who says what she means. Our kids are in their early 20's and starting out so they're getting the stuff. It's mostly things like clothes & crockpots.

I'm often amazed at the huge amounts of cash some of you guys are budgeting for Christmas.
The wife and I have a $65 limit.
We also have zero debt (other than our house ... and even then we have more equity then what we owe).
So far I've bought her a sweater. I'll probably pick up another sweater and maybe an inexpensive necklace or bracelet. Also going to get her a set of wireless headphones since she likes to watch TV in bed when I'm trying to sleep.
We just got married in June and one of the first things we bought after the honeymoon was a new mattress... now she wants a new master bedroom suit. Mine that i've only had for 5 years, isn't nice enough for a married couple, evidently. It's going to wind up in the guest room when we get each other a new set for Christmas (or shortly thereafter). If anyone knows a good place to buy quality furniture (aka, not AFW or Furniture row) shoot me a PM.

Got her a couch and a gel nil polish kit. Not sure what else yet.
She has decided she wants to get her CHP and possibly a new pistol but that will both be after the holidays.
