Got an AR pistol (soon to be SBR) I'm doing some final touches on. The upper I bought doesn't have any sort of muzzle device so I've been shopping around for something a little better than your standard A2 birdcage. A main goal is to reduce the blast/noise since I hear short uppers are really loud. Also I would like to decrease muzzle flip. Muzzle flash isn't a huge issue because I don't do a lot of night shooting. I'm reading some pretty great things on the Triad, and also the Levang linear compensator which is about half the price. Budget is about 50-60 or less, not trying to dump too much money into this.
If there's another good flash suppressor in my price range that I'm missing, please let me know. Also if anyone has experience with either or both of the mentioned ones, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks in advance.
