As soon as I saw this I downloaded it and blocked AppleMaps from using my location data. Screw those bastards, while the phone is nice the maps app is absolutely terrible.

As soon as I read on a geek blog that apple developed their new map and did away w/ google.. I changed my mind about an Iphone 5 or updating my OS on a few products. I'm sorry, but I remember the growing pains when Nav systems were first coming of age.. One does not just 'create' a nav system and it work... Apple aimed for the stars and landed some where around uranus.

You can submit a correction in Google Maps... not sure what the exact issue is with people getting to your house but if the location is off in the maps it's a pretty simple fix for them.

I was a bit sad to see the Google Maps go away when I "upgraded" to iOS 6.0. Took a minute to adjust to the new map program but now I kind of like it. I haven't had any issues using it. As far as I can tell the people really complaining about it are having trouble with it in places like Australia and Tokyo. I don't leave my country so I don't anticipate any problems. That being said, I'll download the Google maps.... just in case.
