We need more BAMFs like Judge Napolitano in politics. I'd vote for that guy in a heartbeat.

It already happens. If a Veteran is declared incompenent, the VA sends him/her a letter that explains all of the ins and outs of having a fiduciary and how they cant own a gun. They have been deemed incompetent by a physician or through the legal system.
I hate to burst your bubble, but veterans are a lower form of citizen in some cases.

Agreed, but I don't trust the VA with this

There is also a move to allow Commanders (not sure what level) to seize guns from Soldiers that they feel may harm themselves or others. Right now, the military is blaming suicides on the availability of guns instead of looking at the underlying issues affecting our vets.
I was talking with some employers and they agreed that there was a stigma about hiring veterans these days and we are looked at as ticking time bombs. Thanks mainstream media.

Of course, because every veteran has PTSD and every veteran has been in combat. Hell, there are very few deployed in a war zone who have actually seen combat.

Anyone who's ever served knows that, during your service, you have restrictions on your Constitutionally guaranteed Rights (particularly our Freedom of Speech). Most of us accept this as a term of our service.
I served honorably and faithfully for 20 years and am now retired. I'll be damned if my Rights will be restricted even one more day simply because of my service. MOLON LABE!
Call your Congressman and complain it's the only chance we have.
