Brass punch & a hammer. worked for decades. Cosmetic wise, hit it from the bottom. If you're concerned about any marring, don't worry, if it looks like a mil style rifle you're more than likely holding your retirement package in your hands.

It worked perfectly. Taped the punch with electrical tape. Thanks gents.
