took a 77/22 bbl had a guy over on arfcom (nmbmxer) make a bbl bushing for it and thread bbl.
was on a MGi QCB upper but decided a dedicated 22 ar was good for grins. Cav arms coyote lower. DPMS A-3 upper and f/float tube. used a RRA detch carry handle for rear sight slapped a Burris 135 speed dot (5 moa) on it, took a fixed detach front sight milled it down in the sight area to align with rear sight (originally a gas block sight) it sat 3/8" too high stock. ruger 10/22 scope rail for front sight sits @ same plane as flat top ar rail. A-1 f/hider
off hand @25 yds dumped 2 BDM mags into a palm size area. doubt i'll do that again.
will decide paint pattern this spring when i can bomb can it outside. all the parts except the upper receiver and float tube were extras in the parts bin. cost about $185.00 for the upper, tube, machined bbl bushing installed and bbl threaded. if it shoots 1/2 as nice(of course it will) with my Tac-65 on i'll be real happy
