New to Colorado.. question about permit

So I just recently moved to Colorado from the great state of Illinois ( [LOL] ) I have a Utah concealed carry permit and I'm wondering if I have to take another entire class to get my Colorado permit? Either way I'll probably end up taking another class because my wife is interested, wondering if I can get the ball rolling quicker though.

Your training credential is valid 5 years from issuance, assuming it conforms to Colorado standards (most Utah classes should). A Colorado specific course will hopefully bring you up to speed on the differences in the law from Utah to here.

Note that your Utah permit was not honored while you have an Illinois ID, but will be honored for 90 days once you get a Colorado ID issued to you. That's long enough to get the permit application in.

I've had a Colorado ID for about a year... guess I missed my window. No worries, signing up for a class the beginning of next month with RW Firearms.

I lived in Illinois also for 32 years, man am I glad I got out of there.
