My brother says I won his dream trip.

I was notified yesterday I'm the official Colorado winner for a Daytona 500 trip from Chevy. My brother is a nascar fan and said this is a fans dream trip. Here's what they are doing for us

Day One – Thursday, February 14, 2008
• Arrivals to Orlando Florida
• Transfer to the Buena Vista Palace Resort & Spa
• Remainder of Afternoon at Leisure
• Welcome Reception
Day Two – Friday, February 15, 2008
• Cash allowance for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
• Morning at Leisure
• Transfer to Daytona International Speedway (Chevy Silverado 250)
• Evening at Leisure
Day Three – Saturday, February 16, 2008
• Cash Allowance for Breakfast and Lunch
• Transfer to Daytona International Speedway (Camping World 300 presented by Chevrolet)
• Evening Reception at NASCAR Sports Grille in Orlando
Day Four – Sunday, February 17, 2008
• Breakfast in Hotel
• Transfer to Daytona International Speedway (50th Running of the Daytona 500)
• Cash allowance for Lunch and Dinner
• Evening at Leisure
Day Five – Monday, February 18, 2008
• Breakfast Buffet
• Departure Day – Transfer to Orlando International Airport

I like the 2 nights we have a reception or party because it means free booze! But the best part is 10 of the 50 winners will go home owning a 2008 Chevy Impala worth 30k. I'm hoping some of the other states winners don't show up so the chances are better. I want that car! What's neat is it's the 50th running of Daytona 500 so should be fun!

No banning allowed! :) They are quick! General Motors' travel agency have all ready booked the flight with the leave time we wanted. They asked for our shirt sizes too so I think we'll get a goody bag too. Chevy has quite a few of the best drivers so mom in law is begging for autographs if we get to meet some drivers. My brother asked also.

I knew there were nascar fans here so I'll post some pictures if we get some good ones.

That sounds like one of them new fangled internet scams. Send me all the information and I can double check for ya. [Muaha]

I'm sure you wouldn't be surprised at just how many sweeps scams there are out there! The sweepstakes website I use has people who check and verify the sweeps before they get posted. But we read posts all the time from newbies that enter sweeps they find outside of the sweeps site and they do get taken. Or they ask often if a sweep they won is legit. So many out there say you won a trip, but you have to pay a processing fee and sit through a selling spiel and so many other crap offerings. You always have to look closely and if you never heard of the company sponsoring the contest don't enter. Freaky people want your information.
