Early reports about the shooting in Newport (Fashion Island, if you've been there) said a guy in the parking lot was shooting into the air, in the parking lot, not near anyone, but one person was injured in the resulting stampede of people inside the mall (it's an open air mall). Police showed up to find his standing next to his car, with a handgun and a sweatshirt on his trunk, and he was arrested without incident.

Early reports of the Newton shooting said it was just 3 adults who were injured... They really need to get some info before posting shit online.
