32,000+ gun owners (assumedly) doing the very thing they rebuff the gun control group for doing...blaming an inanimate object for the behavior of someone [Bang]
Wouldnt you rather they take away violent video games than 30 round "clips" lol

I signed, probably wont do any good since the agenda has been set in motion. Unless a pro gun lobbyist offers more money then the anti gun lobbyist's O'l barry will side with the Benjamins.

I'm not convinced that the White House Petition site isn't just a big ole fancy "Enemies List Aggregator".

I won't sign it, because
1) I don't believe violent video games are to blame for mass shootings, and
2) Thats a huge assumption to make that the shooter even played violent video games.

The only White House petition that I'll sign is the one attempting to stop White House petitions. Every issue doesn't need a damn petition. How about I let you do whatever the hell you want and leave me alone and I'll return the favor. What's so difficult about this?
All those petitions are asking the government to dictate what the citizenry are allowed to do based on majority opinion.

Seriously, has the White House EVER acted on one of these silly petitions that didn't match what they already wanted to do? At best, the petition site is a psychological outlet for people to feel like they've "done something" without doing anything. At worst...well, someone already mentioned the worst case scenario.
I'm not blaming the video games. I'm blaming people (including the mother) who either failed to notice a problem or failed to act when they did notice a problem. And I say that as someone who has taken his own child in for evaluation and counseling.

Yeah not signing that one either. I don't blame violent video games.
Agreed. Not only does blaming "violent video games" not help anyone, even us, but so far as we know, it's not even true. The video game thing came up when the media got the wrong brother's name publicized.
Yeah not signing that one either. I don't blame violent video games.
Especially Mass Effect. Well, I could see him being thrown into a blood thirsty rage by the ending, but still...
