Been Lurking this and AR-15.com forums for a while, learning about as much as I can. I enjoy this sight since it is close to home.

I am looking at building/buying my first AR and wanted someone to maybe take me under their wing and teach me. I learn a heck of a lot better with hands on, and am ready to start speading a few dollars here and there, but want to get my hands on parts and really learn about the gun before I buy anything.

Is there anyone up here in Cheyenne WY, or in/around Erie that is willing to help a new enthusiest? Thanks

Well It's official....

I get the OK from my wife a week to late.... All the AR's are gone in Cheyenne, and where I can get to in CO. The gun show was price gouging like a boss, same with all online sales.

All I wanted was a basic platform for under $800 that I could have built on. Bummer
