Not sure if this is the right place for this but here we go...

Im wanting to build an AR so I can learn how it works as I build and become more familiar with it. Can anyone recommend a good gun shop in or around the city that has parts and friendly staff? I hate walking into a place and automatically feel like the staff is looking down at me like I shouldnt be there. I live in Stapleton but Im willing travel if its a good reliable friendly place. Thanks for the input!

How I learned was online. Get the right tools and take your time. If you insist I'd say to go BT or Bowers. I live down south and go to bowers regularly. They have all the parts you need usually. Decided what you want with the rifle then get parts.

Glad you want to learn the AR. Be careful I think most or maybe all is in Denver County. Good luck with the project.

As of late, the only thing most LGS's will have is advise. Their cupboards are bare of most anything you could be wanting or needing.
And the possibility of them being able to restock is looking dismal.
