They never had anything in stock I wanted. Anyway...........................

Maybe they are just going low profile for awhile. Seems to be a common theme, but I got to tell you that I kind of understand, seeing and hearing the emotionally charged screaming and yelling for ban guns, ban this, ban that..............................

I just fear what steps those that understand the meaning of this country and the law of the land that is fading away will have to take to re-secure our freedoms.

I have already called them and am in the process of crafting am email...They haven't had the best stock lately, but over the last year alone I've spent over 10k with CDT and I am letting them know in no uncertain terms that that is over, as I refuse to give my business to a bunch of weak-willed conformist pussies....

Good for you. I will do the same.

Not to mention that its not like the old days where you bought a gun from CTD and they ship it to your door, it has to go through a dealer. That's not exactly what I would call an online sale.

The problem with laying low is it shows we have something to be ashamed of, or guilty and responsible gun owners are not guilty here.

I had to see it to believe it. I quit doing business with them after the '08 price gouging, but I was starting to come around. I should thank them for reminding me why I stopped.

Agreed, the price gouging has gotten pretty bad with some of thier stuff....Haven't bought any 5.56 from them for a while for that reason (wasn't too bad earlier in the year), but I picked up a dozen PMAGs from them about 2 weeks ago at around $10/mag. Will be my last purchase from them....

They are clearly just trying to maximize profit before the new year. While sickening to think they're taking advantage of the stupid masses, I have no problem with it. This is America afterall, supply and demand, let them make their money while they can. It might come to an end, or at least become much harder, soon anyway, right?

I have a striking suspicion part of the political efforts will stop the sale of ammunition online, and obviously limit magazine capacity...

Never before has there been a time for this industry to stand firm.
Instead they are cowering and commiting suicide.

Shameful..

One for the price of two!

Magpul actually had to post something about it on their FB page:

We've received a lot of comments about some retailers charging extremely high prices for our products. We strongly discourage pricing strategies like this with our direct customers, as we just don't feel right about it. Those retailers who are buying through distribution, and not direct, may be worried about supply and reacting to the market with this pricing increase. We are firm believers in free capitalism, and as long as no one is damaging market value through their pricing strategy, we will allow the market to correct this situation, as it appears it already is. We intend to continue to produce and sell our products to support the MSRPs we have set. Magazines will continue to flow to those retailers, distributors, and OEM customers with whom we have direct relationships.

---

There are 374 comments on that post, and I bet at least 300 of them are suggesting Magpul stop selling to CTD.
