View Full Version : If an AWB goes through... [Question]
I can't afford one now, but I'm saving up to get a Daniel Defense Mk18 SBR (10.3") and then later an AAC suppressor for it. If an AWB actually does go through, let's say while my paperwork is with the ATF, would they all of a sudden deny the forms and void out the purchase? How would I obtain one if I don't have the money before an AWB goes into effect? I know this is just speculative, but I actually am nervous that my POF is going to be my only AR platform if the dick-headed dems get their way. [Jail]

I just bought a 10.5 last week and rushed to get the paper work in the mail today. I'm worried about the same thing. I also want to purchase a suppressor but scared to death They will deny the stamp and I'll be out the cost of it since you have to buy it before you can submit the paper work. I'm already stuck with the barrel regardless and if they ban AR pistols I've got a big expensive paper weight

Its pointless to debate the effects of unwritten legislation.

Let alone worry about something you cannot afford anyway.
FWIW: NFA items were flying under the radar UNTIL every gun board had someone who isn't even the market ask the same thing.
I've had 2 forms in for the last 4 months. One for a suppressor I purchased at Jensens and another for an 11.5 inch build I'm doing. I've had the same types of questions. So far I obviously have a lot of money tied up in the can, stamps, and lower parts for the SBR build. Not sure why but I'm starting to feel a bit uneasy about all of this.
