Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes anyway. I'm looking for a decent source for either reloaded or new .223 ammo in bulk. So far, all the usual sources I go to for ammo are either out of stock or the price has skyrocketed.
Also looking for .45 ACP 230gr FMJ if I can get it.

I know this doesn't answer your post directly but something to think about.
You can buy a Lee 1000 Pro progressive press in 223 for $99-125
You can buy 62 grainn M855 bullets for $40/500 new or $40/1000 pulled
2# of powder for $40
1000 pieces of LC brass sized and primed for $120
So that means you can load 1000 rounds of 223 for $300
Reload those 1000 rounds for $110
It's tough to buy 1000 round in 223 for $110
If you need sources for these items let me know....45ACP is a little more expensive for jacketed...about $140 just for 1000 bullets....$80/1000 cast

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, right at the moment I've a couple of restrictions which prevent me from reloading.
If I can find someone willing to let me buy components for them in exchange for loading the ammo, that would probably work out pretty well.
Tanner gun show at Denver Merchandise Mart often has a booth back behind 5280 armory where this guy sells ammo by the case for a pretty decent price...mostly .223 and 7.62 I think...

i think the company is 'ten x ammo.' over the summer his price was $240/1000rds for reloaded .223s. i've put a few hundred rounds of their stuff through my rra and haven't had any problems with it. get to tanner early though; last show i was at, my buddy and i picked up his last two cases of .223s at about 11:00 saturday AM. he's also got reloaded pistol ammo - i haven't had any problems with the .40s i've picked up from him.
