Please be advised that the weather might actually be nice enough that we will be able to have a match on Sunday (1/20) in Pueblo West. Dust off that gun and come down to Pueblo Sunday!
Six stages planned with two shotgun sidematch stages.
New shooters- arrive before 8am for the safety class.
Shooters' meeting at 9:45am.
Match starts at 10:00am.
See you there!

If you're going to shoot the shotgun side match, bring at least 10 slugs and the usual box or two of bird shot.
And as usual, we will need help setting up so please come out early and lend a hand! Set up starts at 6:30am.
Thanks.

Well, I WAS going to bring my AR, but I guess I'll have to go find some shotgun ammo so I can shoot the shotty sidematch.

Here is a view of stage one. Start with unloaded pistol and all mags on barrel.

When the buzzer goes off you grab your stuff and start shooting.

Just like we always say, “Know what is beyond your target” is often a player at IDPA matches. Here we have a good guy (with the hand) between two bad guys…

Former Paintball guru turned IDPA Ninja Master, tc looks for more bad guys.

Now this is a happy target. Note no holes taped outside the “zero” scoring areas.

If you find yourself hanging out with tc, before long you will be bleeding or needing a new knee.

I tried to get a good shot of the bloodied warrior, that's about the only time I could catch him.

It was a pleasure to take the pics, I'll bring out my camera next match so that we can get extras. Mine does video as well, so maybe we can get some video clips of us nutjo...err...experienced shooters showing how it's done. *G*

I wasn't sure when I was taking pics of Hoser if I could pull off getting one of him in action with the spent shell flying. Looks like I got lucky.

For those that have asked about the match results...

One shooter got 500 seconds on several stages.

That is because something came up and he left early and did not get to finish the match.

So, I had three options.

1. Include the stages he shot and put a time of zero on the stages that he didnt shoot. But that means he never had a chance to earn any time and his total time would only be for half of the stages messing up the results.

2. Dont include any of his results at all. Not good in my book.

3. Add in the actual times on what he shot so he can compare how he did. Adding in 500 seconds on what he didnt shoot is easy for everyone to tell that he just didnt shoot them or something was up.

I went with #3.

Sorry for any confusion I caused.
