Okay, so if I had some humongo storage space, I'd probably bid on a few pallet loads at govliquidation.com and be done with it. Happy ending, and enough ammo cans. (Or maybe the problem would shift to "not enough ammo...")

But I don't have that space, and my wife would not be pleased if I stacked pallets in the living room [Stick].

So. anyone have a line on decent ammo cans at a good price (factoring in shipping to CO if they're coming off the Internet)?

I bought all mine at the local US surplus store. I probably paid a buck or two more than I could have gotten them somewhere else, but I got to pick the best ones and, well, I'm lazy.

Someone let me in on the surplus place in the Springs with $5 cans, probably Willyswagon. I can't recall the name of the place, but it is just between Tejon and Nevada a block or so north of I-25. Last I was there they had a few dozen, who knows now.

They aren't all pretty, but I found no rust and ok gaskets on each one I picked up.

Glenn's Army Surplus. I've bought many ammo cans there and all were in good shape.

Tanner Gun Show! :) There are always a couple retailers with cans of various sizes...prices are typically $4 for small cans and $6 for larger cans...I picked up one small can and a couple MREs back in December...
