My name is Dylan and I'm originally from Parker, CO but I am in the Air Force and stationed at Cannon AFB in "Used" Mexico, so I'd like to think I am decently versed in the function of AR's. My father and I just picked up our first AR yesterday, a Del-Ton Echo316H with a Troy 9" rail, MOE butt stock, and a PMAG. Like most people, we immediately ran out and bought as many PMAG's as we could... all 3 of them... I also snagged an MOE grip, and a one point sling. All in all a good first step into buying an AR.

Hi everyone. I'm new to forums, so I have no clue what I'm doing. Not bad for a 30+ year IT guy! My son "Dylan Never Sleeps" will be guiding me through this, and also getting help from Brutal. We are still waiting on the CBI background check to pick up our first AR. Yesterday evening the gun store told me there were over 5100 people in the queue, average wait time of 28 hours. There is NO panic in Colorado trying to buy anything semi-auto! Shevles are empty of guns, ammo, and mags!

Welcome from another Nuevo Mexico resident. I moved down from Denver after my military retirement, almost 2 years ago now. I also work at Cannon when I'm not deployed; down at NSAv Medium. We're usually deployed more than we're home, though.

Enjoy the site! Awesome place, a bunch of great folks (and a few others...) with a ton of knowledge that they're willing to share. Much like military service, what you get out of this site is proportional to what you put in.
