Which one? there was the early one made out of a block of Al, or the stamped sheet metal unit?
Either way, unless you're flush with an easy 4-5 K of ammo & 2 doz mags go for it.
How much? They have a bad rep and lots of guys think they are only good for parts. The early ones are said to be the better ones and the ones made by Century had the bad rep. Does it have the wrinkle, smooth or stainless receiver? Mags are cheap and plentiful. Also some parts can be worth more than others, Rhinemetal bolt carrier, barrel, ect.

$650. It is the wrinkle receiver. Don't want a parts gun though.

At the time it did not occur to me to check. I did some research and there are some posts that the design on the aluminum receivers is bad.

That's the 1st gen Al cast receiver. If you scored it for say $500 with 3-4 mags, the parts - receiver are worth more than that, as of this afternoons current AWB rumors.
Come tomorrow who knows??

Thanks, I was looking at a PTR lower for $240 but would probably have to take it to Bert as anything besides an AR build is a little over my head. As far as I know it only comes with one mag and has what appears to be a pretty cool bipod attached to it.

In my experience the big, fugly, cast recievered FA 91's are just that, fugly. But they do run pretty well and seem to not have issues running. And as noted, some had really good parts.
