Sorry, I was adding a poll.
Other:
no FTF sales without a background check
requirement that any mental health related incarceration be reported and blocking ownership.
I see almost no chance of those 2 not showing up. I could even see the NRA giving these up.
We will not see confiscation. worst case on those lines would be handguns and semi added to NFA list
We may see some cosmetic based ban or a magazine ban. That depends on what could be rammed through, the longer it takes the lower the chances of this.

Assuming you're talking about at the Federal level, I picked "Nothing".
Now here in Colorado I put the chances of a statewide AWB at greater than 50%

Every time someone talks confiscation I realize how much tinfoil people wear in this country. Confiscation will not happen in my lifetime and I'm not old.

Regardless of what is going to happen, I hope everyone is putting half the effort into writing their Reps as they are into preaching doom and gloom on the internet.

Not sure sitting here with NRA online streaming???
State of CO 3-10 waiting period, 10 rd mag restrictions, no evil features, BG checks across the board. how they will enforce that is beyond my comprehension. Unfortunately i do not have any board members ph# or e-m addys:(
Ban on AR/AK and anything that looks like them. Definitely high caps.

Their is also discussions going on at WH.gov and their facebook page. They are asking for peoples input to determine the public opinion on the subject. I like the picture on their facebook page showing eric holder in the biden task force room, holders gun business would be out of business if they bring back an awb.

Ban on hi-caps. Seems to be the word of the month for libs.
Nothing, once they try to work out this fiscal cliff, they will have some time off to enjoy a nice christmas, the media will calm down a bit, congress will come back, take a look at it and not come to an agreement.

I voted high cap mags. As much as I fear an all out AWB, I think the high cap mags have a higher probability of being banned, as the first AWB didn't really affect crime with assault weapons (North Hollywood Incident being a prime example) and the police were outgunned, putting their lives on the line.
Even if they ban assault weapons, I'm sure they realize that there will be many criminals out there who still have them.
I wish for the best and at the point just tired and waiting to see how this can be challenged and turned around..........................

I voted nothing but not because of logic and reasoning. There isn't any of that in politics.

One thing missing: Moving all "assault rifle" to NFA status and require a 200$ stamp for ownership....

If they did this, the only way I could imagine them doing it is removing the CLEO signature from the application form. Otherwise, all police stations would be inundated with people demanding they get their signatures on their already legal rifles. If they didn't remove the sign-off, they would need to provide everyone with at least a 1yr grace period, perhaps more. Or am I out of line by thinking this?
I already heard they were considering removing the CLEO sign-off, and if/when they do I was planning on getting a suppressor (lets be realistic, several) and perhaps even an SBR, but we'll see how things go now.

I thought of this possibility as well. Probably would be mind boggling the amount of people sending in for stamps. I would hope there would be sort of streamline process since people already possess them.

Yep. And, my take on it, is that if they are really serious (NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF GUN CONTROL LAW) about limiting the use/possession of "evil black gun", there (GVT) only option, since there is millions of EBG in circulation, is to make it hard for people to afford the stamp, force people to get a stamp before selling / buying, add some "system delay" to discourage the trade of EBG.
Doing it this way will not require any new law (at least i think...), and will make everybody look good in DC (look: we didn't BAN EBG!)
