Every now and then The dust gets knocked off of this idea, This time it was Badshot's thread for some reason. Now keep in mind that there are certian logistics that I have yet to work out, But, in Marlin's fanatsy world, These were no problem. Started a new thread so, I wouldn't hijack the other.
Gentlemen, I present for You're approval, The ultimate COAR Shooting Club and Bar & Grill.
Open 24/7 to any member.
Main Rifle range; I'm thinking about 8000 yrds (Do the math, just over 1 1/2 miles) About 20 good, solid concrete benches. Naturally with a private mountian for a backstop. Should be able to hadle anything up to 20mm,
A seperate area for the Skeet/Clays crowd with as many stations as required.
In one corner, a PD town, just because.
A Classroom/shoot house, That ought to keep IDPA types happy and, with the classroom Jeff,Zack,Kelly or Tom, could bring in anybody they could get ahold of for training of any type that one could desire.
The Clubhouse/Ammo bunker- Well provisioned with any type ammo that We cold get our hands on. in one corner, a shop with any tool needed for the the completion of of any build.
The Bar & Grill Self explanitory and well stocked.
Out back of the Clubhouse, a decent sized, well stocked lake. I'm also thinking that the private mountian could also double as a hunting reserve for members only.
OK, did I forget anything? I figure a small donation of, oh, say about, $500,000 a piece, or, if Roger would let Us have the infamous COAR gold card for a couple of days, We could make it happen.

With all those private mountains I think what you're really looking for is a private mountain RANGE. After all, why settle for one or two when you can have them all? [Coffee]

I like the idea but I would add Hooters girls that load mags for all of us. [ROFL1]

Marlin, you have all the corners covered but what about the center. We got to have a viewing tower smack dab in the middle of the complex. Complete with a restaurant / Bar on the upper level that rotates 360 degrees. We'll call it the Revolver Room. Of course each table will have a lap top, spotting scope, and a professional gun cleaning expert to keep your baby in tip top condition. Each floor has its own Nickname's like the (Construction Zone) everything you'll ever need and all the tools and experts on hand here. And the (Library) an indoor shooting range for silencers only. After lunch you and your gun caddy will jump on your club issued ATV and hit the course. The whole place could be lit up for around the clock shooting. [WooHoo]

Thought about that after I posted. Wasn't sure if I could afford them though.

Larry, I was thinking a three story club house, so, maybe put an observation deck on the roof. Most of the other stuff You mentioned is already in the clubhouse. And the fireing line would be no more than 35' away, So, I guess that We could use the carts to change targets. I kind of like the "Revolver" though, incorperate that in to the design.
