I purchased a lower from them on Saturday the 15th (completely unaware of panic buying). I recieved an email from them Monday asking for my FFL, tuesday saying it was being processed, and I got a tracking number late Tuesday early Wednesday morning. On Wednesday afternoon, the CEO (or atleast thats what the signature said) emailed me saying that my order cannot be shipped until I have my FFL send in their info (which had already been sent). Yesterday I get another email saying sorry for the confusion, and my order was being processed again. Now today I got what looks like an automated message from them saying my order is not in stock and is on back order, and i can substitute anything on their website in lieu of what I ordered as long as it is able to be added to my cart because that means its in stock (just like my lower).

I understand that it's probably extremely hectic, but they charged me on Saturday when I ordered it and make it seem like I should be receiving this shortly.

That is my rant for the day.

Gonna be a little bit of that going on for a while yet. What I don't understand, and maybe I'm ignorant on the IT side of things, is how companies can have automated stock systems that take such bad accounting of what is on hand. Messing up shipping, or loosing the ffl info I get but not the "whoops guess we didn't have it" stuff.

That sucks. I ordered from rock river arms and I haven't been charged since it hasn't shipped yet.

has something similar happen with me. on the 17th I saw Pmags for $12.30, and bought 4 for under $50. I got an email on the 18th saying the order was processed and I should recieve them in 7-10 days. Today I get an email saying they were out of stock and back ordered. and They don't know when they will get any in. I can either cancel my order, or wait in line. For that price... I am just going to wait and expect a Christmas present in May 2013 :lol:

I know what you mean with the whole active inventory system. I thought the point of an active inventory was to input how many items you have in-stock, then the active inventory allows purchases up to the number that you have in-stock, and then either say out-of-stock or just remove it from the website. Seems like a lot of places had this happen on everything. I'm sitting on my orders that are backordered hoping they get some in-stock before the middle of January and can ship them out to me.

It's interesting that Dsg arms is still accepting back orders on this $100 ten pack deal of non window pmags. I keep checking just out of curiosity as to how soon they will pull that offer.

Nothing, just that it's been processed.

I bought a few receivers, barrels, etc. from RainierArms about 2 months ago, and while in the end I got my stuff, the shipping took waaaaaay longer than it should have. That being said, I like their ultramatch barrels and will probably buy from them again (hopefully)...

Im willing to wait. As long as I get my item. Id like to know if that is actually going to happen though.

Just an update. I received an email from their CEO again. He was very apologetic and is willing to make things right. They refunded my card and offered to leave my order on back order until it is in stock again. He said they are about 2000 orders behind. I will say that the email sounds sincere and I will continue doing business with them for now.

It's amazing how far just a little bit of customer service will go. Good for them.
