View Full Version : ATF&E raids gun shop

Sounds like someone was feeling the need for more attention. I guess a simple audit was out of the question.

That is just the tip of the iceberg. Wait 'till they start raiding everyone else that didn't lose their guns in a boat accident like I did.

What's the point of raiding the place? What is the gun shop going to be able to tell them that they don't already know. Am I the only one that has the feeling that this move was just done to vilify the gun shop?

Yup nothing stinks here folks, move along.
1st report: multiple shooters, 2 pistols
2nd report: 1 shooter 2 pistols (glock, Sig)
3rd report: 1 shooter 2 pistols used, but an evil AR15 in the trunk
4th report: 1 shooter 2 pistols but not used, evil AR15 only weapon used with special hard to detect ammo
And now this, yup, perfectly legitimate, nothing to see here.

Glad to see I'm not the only one questioning all of this.
I went over to arfcom's hometown New England page, they had some more links to this. It turns out that there have been some "missing" guns from this store, and more than a few. Check it out.

It's easy to find. I just read through the thread. The shop apparently has 30+ firearms missing. Definitely not good.

I'll pay $850 if you throw in a PMAG.

Also depends upon your definition of a "raid". Is two or three ATF agents walking through the door wanting to see your records a raid? Maybe, in some people eyes. Maybe, to the media who likes to sensationalize things.
