I noticed your values (no pun intended) seem to have evolved over the last 24 hours.
Hell...at this rate I should sell my stripped lower for $1,000 (J/K). I couldn't part with it even if I wanted to. It just kills me to see all the tacticool guns & accessories selling for way over value. Then again, panic stricken demand = big $$$ sales.

I'd sell mine... but seeing as I only had the one ( lost in the boating accident) it would have been hard to part with it ..

I may or may not have listed some stuff on Armslist for "market value" [LOL]
I don't care what the prices get to, I don't plan on selling anything, because I'll likely never get to replace it. I did trade a 1911 that I absolutely loved today for a rifle that I've been wanting a nice example of, but that ain't the same as selling my toys for worthless paper money.
Bushmaster OCR MSRP $1391.48....
http://www.bushmaster.com/firearms/XM-15.asp
So would anyone pay this MSRP?
I wonder what an AR would go for that didn't have any paper trail on it. Something like one made by an individual from a raw forging purchased with cash at a gun show.

In a serious debate myself. Last Thursday, prior to CT, I was calling around to trade the AR cause i just don't shoot it enough & miss my old Coyboy Lever action. Now when I could get a premium, having second thoughts simply based on the fact if i sell I may never have one again. Maybe I should hit OD Green and try to get $4000 for it!!!!

funniest part of all of this is for those of use already "prepared"
I do not need any $100 Pmags
I do not need a inflated $3-5K AR
I do not need $800+ boxes of 5.56
everything is in the ready-room, you know, ready.

exactly!
I've got my fingers crossed to do the same. Put my lr308 up on AL... again. I Got flagged the first go around (I guess I'm not the only one who thinks $4k is a retarded price). Put make offer this time.

But do you have any extra that you could turn a quick profit from in the incredible seller's market?

I wish. Oh well, I may not be profiting from the crisis but at least I'm not suffering from it.

I have conflicted feelings about listing PMAGs for sale for a ridiculous price.
On the one hand it's good to have them, but i've got what I think is enough + a few spares. The spares are worth more to me than what I paid of course. I wouldn't sell them to someone here for a disgusting fill a bathtub fill of $$ and roll around in it price. That wouldn't be nice to the folks here.
But I also look all the unprepared folks who waited too long, bought rifles at inflated prices, only to find out they can't really shoot them because there were no mags. So in a way, I'd be helping them out to sell them 80$ PMAGs. I'd be doing them a favor!

It's great watching the Panic as I clean what I have, load up my mags, and refresh the dessicant in the ammo :)
