New York May Confiscate "Assault" Weapons

In the interview, Mr. Cuomo did not offer specifics about the measures he might propose, but, while discussing assault weapons, he said: “Confiscation could be an option. Mandatory sale to the state could be an option. Permitting could be an option — keep your gun but permit it.”

NY state is still part of America right? If I didn't know any better, I'd think Russia or China had annexed them. Unbelievable. To think these people's ancestors were once pivotal players in the events of the American Revolution.

Confiscation and mandatory sale are NOT options and he's talking out his ass, unless he'd like to stop by and try it personally. If I still had any guns that is, damn boats. Historically permitting has done nothing more than produce a list for subsequent confiscation. Ask the Brits, or the Aussies or the... oh why bother.
