You know I think we would all like to give our representatives (state and federal) a nice Christmas present[pileoshit] and let them know just how we feel about their views and their holiness.
But if we just vent we will get nowhere.
I would like to think after 20+ years of writing documents at a state level I have learned a couple of things that may be beneficial:
DO Give your full name and contact information.
DO Keep it brief and factual.
DO Keep it limited to a specific topic.
DO Remind them that they work for you.
DO Remind them that they took an oath to uphold and abide by the Constitution.
DO Remind them that you vote.
DO Pay attention to spelling and grammar.
DO Be respectful.
DO NOT take it to a personal level.
DO NOT insult or berate.
DO NOT swear.
DO NOT threaten.
DO NOT rant.
The better grounded and articulated you come across, the more credible your stance.
Of course if I were to reply to Perslutters reply posted here I would shatter all of the above.
Arrogant, elite prick.
