It seems EVERY ( well at least 99% of them) seem to leave out that The CT shooter killed the mother too ...

it's always 26 killed that day .. what about her why does it seem they leave her out on purpose??

Bothers me too, they may be trying to make it looks like he was just a regular gun owner, instead of a manic with evil on his mind who can kill his own mother and stole her guns to kill innocents.

The media distorts what they present as news. They do this on a daily basis and put their own spin on many things. "We" all accept the news as reality but only get a small portion of the facts.

The death of this woman does not fit in with the spin on this since it would not be sensational to report the killer had to murder his own mother to get firearms for the school shooting. That is a clear distraction which would not be helpful in their mission to incite the emotions of the public and show a need for gun control. They don't want the public to focus on the issue that the killer had to murder his own mother to get firearms.

I heard in recent news, they are now blaming the mother for her son's actions and the fact that she owned such evil guns. Sad how the liberal media is using the death of the innocents to further their agenda. However; that being said...I'm really not surprised. The liberal vultures will take any extreme measure they can to get at our meat.

As tragic as all the deaths are, the media has moved beyond the event that occurred eight days ago and onto the push to demonize firearms, people who own firearms, and the industry that manufactures them. The mother? she, of her own free will, actually had the audacity to purchase a gun. It was her spawn that shot up a school. Which, in the minds of many seems to constitute guilt by association.

Are you sure? I thought she was counted as one of the 6 adults and the son is the 27th. Can't ever remembering reading or hearing a total of 28 dead.

NPR played a voice mail from a lady praising them for saying 26 deaths instead of 27 deaths. She said Obama correctly said 26, but our governor incorrectly said 27. I was under the impression that she was upset because saying 27 deaths included the shooter, and 26 did not. Perhaps the media is saying 26 so people don't think they are counting the shooter, instead of the mother. Who knows?

I'm telling ya. Liberals relish incidents like Newtown. They don't give a rat's ass about 22 kids that died, or the adults, or Lanza's mom, except that it helps their cause immensely. They care about their agenda...taking guns away from the law-abiding. They would gladly sacrifice as many children as necessary to accomplish that goal. The media is complicit in this as well.

Don't believe it? Look at the liberal reaction to the NRA press release yesterday. The NRA presented a workable, viable plan that offered concrete steps to improve safety in schools. What did the liberals immediately do? Trashed the NRA and called them...you and me...murderers, evil, etc.

Nope. School safety does nothing for them. Without school or theater shootings, liberals don't have anything. They need dead children.
