I was just looking for Colorado revenue info and came across a fear monger report assessing the costs of climate change in Colorado on skiing. It says that in Colorado skiing is $2.0 billion annually and they predict a 1% reduction in ski industry as a result of climate change equaling a $375 million revenue loss and 4500 jobs by 2017, and they are panicking!
Now lets look at hunting and fishing in Colorado it is $1.6 billion annually and I predict a 2 - 5 % decline in hunting annually if the democrats vote on a gun ban. We can blame that directly on separate Colorado fronts the state house, the governor and nationally the two democrat senators. Maybe that decreased potential hunting revenue info will make the news, maybe the democrats will be blamed and maybe they will fear for their jobs, or, maybe not? I think we should write our state house and national senators and let them know that we will be telling all of our out of state hunter friends to go somewhere besides Colorado that is more gun friendly to hunt and spend money like Wyoming, Montana, Idaho or Alaska. Even if we don't want them to go elsewhere, I think the fear of a possible Colorado hunting boycott will scare them in their tax revenue wallets, and that's all democrats understand. They don't think gun nuts are smart enough to organize something like a hunting boycott, but if they start hearing rumors, who knows.
