View Full Version : an armed officer in every school
Some are saying it won't work, to them I say it will work a hellofalot better than trying to ban guns, plus here is Barry's chance to "get more people employed". In addition, the armed officer can stop knife wielding nut, a pipe bomb toting kook, or any other weapon.

It will work way better then the lunch lady saying please dont shoot me! Plus as most people know if their is an armed guy at the school door the the nut jobs will probably stop targeting schools. BUT OH MY GOD THE COP HAS A GUN AT LITTLE JIMMYS SCHOOL SOMEONE PLEASE SAVE THE CHILDREN!!!

See youre wrong. That is thinking with common sense and all. Everyone knows that we cant use common sense. We must react based on emotions and feelings and such drivel. I for one would gladly volunteer. Not only that but I could bring a narcotics dog to the school and that would serve another purpose. Shit, why not just use regular cops who volunteer a day off or something to go to a scool in their district. Its not like they have to worry about holidays or summertime. Just pay them time and a half as a special duty and you dont put a huge strain on municiple budgets.

see--D20, Colorado Springs. All security went from concealed to open carry last year (or the year before, I can't recall). Usually 2-3 security per high school (that I know of) plus a few D-20 security vehicles that go from school to school in the district where the security is armed
