I was at the gun show this weekend and I was looking at an AK 47, I think it was a Lancaster and the guy that was selling it said he made them in Parker CO He wanted $500 for it.
I don’t know much about this weapon so my questions are:
Does anybody know anybody anything about this company and is this a fair price?
If not, where would I find one for a fair price?
And finally I think I would enjoy building one but I have no idea where to start.
Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.
Thanks

Last I heard Lancaster had spotty QC issues, mainly stemming from the receivers. It might be hit or miss. I'd insist on test firing it before you buy it if possible.
Vector AK's have a good rep and are at the same price point. Atlantic Firearms (http://atlanticfirearms.com/) has some of the best prices you'll find.
