I know there was a bunch of talk several months ago about Concealed carry in D.C.

I have search google to see if there is an answer, but have yet to come up with something.

The question is, If I own a conceal carry permit here in CO, can I conceal carry in D.C. now?

From my research I have come up with this:
http://www.handgunlaw.us/
if you click on CO, it tells you that the CO permit is not honored in DC. But I wanted to check with you guys...

Oh, I was thinking they were going to allow CCW.

Then I have been very miss-informed.

It is hard sometime to keep up with some of the long posts about something.
Thanks for clearing it up.

I am from Richmond Va and I would reccomend that you do carry anyway if you ever go to DC. Better to be tried by 12 than carried by six, right? Concealed is concealed.

Well I can't risk breaking the law, as I would lose any potential for secret clearances and what not.

However I do still take my thunderwear holster, and good quality mace. I also travel in group or in day time.

But man there are some slum holes in DC.
