Mine took 4 days but that was last Tuesday I think it's worse now

I think you'll be waiting a few days. I don't think they work Sunday, then monday was xmas eve so probably reduced staff then christmas. You'll probably get a call in the next day or two.

When I put my name in the hat on Monday morning it looked like it was taking about 96 hours. And I am guessing that didn't factor in the fact that they probably didn't process any yesterday.

I got some money for Christmas and really want to go get my Sig P229 this weekend, if they even have it in stock... Maybe I should duck out early tomorrow and confirm then get the BGC started...

I just filled out my BGC at my local FFL for a M930 that finally came in. She told me that it would be 4-5 days (they are not open on the weekend) and they are showing 99 hour wait time HOWEVER, she says the system doesn't go higher than 99.

I really wanted to shoot that sucker over the holidays. :(

Christmas eve there was 11151 in the que and was told they were getting about 1200 through a day. Said it was up to 99 hours but was also told the system didn't go past 99 hour so who knows.

Talked to a smaller shop earlier that said they have about 100 in the que from their store and are only getting 4-5 back per day...... BUMMER!

Was it ever determined that it was legal or not to make you wait more than 72 hours? Or is that only if the system itself put a hold due to a particular issue with you, and that 72 hour limit has nothing to do with having to wait due to the amount of applicants?
